On the afternoon of March 24, Cheng Liwei, President of the China Mining Association (CMA), led a delegation to China Railway 19 Bureau Group Co., Ltd. for talks with Du Xianghao, Chairman of the Group. The two sides exchanged views on mining industry trends, cooperation on the China Mining Conference and Exhibition, and the intelligent and green development of mining operations.

President Cheng thanked China Railway 19 Bureau Group for its longstanding support to CMA. He noted that the visit aimed to gather feedback from member companies and to invite the Group to participate in the 2026 (28th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for September 10–12 in Tianjin. This year’s conference will feature expanded sections on mining equipment exhibitions, project transactions, and the International Ministers Forum. Cheng expressed hope that the Group would further step up its presence at the event. As China’s only industry organization covering the full mining value chain, CMA remains committed to providing member companies with targeted services in policy consultation, business matchmaking, and legal support to facilitate high-quality development.

Chairman Du Xianghao welcomed the CMA delegation and gave an overview of the Group’s history and operations. He noted that China Railway 19 Bureau Group is actively advancing intelligent and green mining solutions, including the development of an autonomous driving technology team and the deployment of electric haul trucks and intelligent dispatching systems. He expressed appreciation for CMA’s long‑term support and reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to participating in the China Mining Conference and Exhibition while looking to leverage CMA’s platform to explore mining project opportunities both domestically and internationally.

Che Changbo, Secretary General of CMA, and Tao Mingju, Deputy Secretary General, attended the meeting. Zhao Qi, Deputy General Manager of China Railway 19 Bureau Group, was also present.
