China Mining Association Meets with Guests from Erdenes Mongol LLC

On March 26, 2026, Che Changbo, Secretary-General of the China Mining Association, met with Bayarbold Dagaa, Chief Representative of the Beijing Representative Office of Erdenes Mongol LLC, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation in the mining sector.

 

Secretary-General Che Changbo first extended a warm welcome to Chief Representative Bayarbold Dagaa and his delegation. He then introduced the functions, positioning, and industry standing of the China Mining Association, with a particular focus on the 2026 (28th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition and the 2026 China Prospectors Annual Conference. He sincerely invited Erdenes Mongol LLC to participate actively in these two major events this year, leveraging the conference platforms to achieve comprehensive alignment across resources, equipment, technology, and capital. He emphasized that China and Mongolia enjoy geographical proximity, complementary resources, and compatible markets, and that the China Mining Association is willing to fully leverage its role as a bridge and link within the industry to build efficient cooperation channels on a sincere and pragmatic basis, supporting both sides in carrying out all-round cooperation in areas such as mineral exploration and development, and mining rights project promotion.

 

Bayarbold Dagaa, Chief Representative of the Beijing Representative Office of Erdenes Mongol LLC, briefed Secretary-General Che Changbo on the group’s development overview. He noted that the foundation for bilateral mining cooperation is solid and the prospects are broad, and that the group will actively participate in various industry events organized by the China Mining Association. He pointed out that China’s comprehensive industrial system, advanced mining equipment and technology, and vast market demand make it the most reliable and steadfast partner for the development of Mongolia’s mining industry. He also sincerely invited the China Mining Association to participate in Mongolia’s “Mining Week 2026” with a view to further advancing and deepening mining cooperation between the two countries.

 

Sodonbolor Bayarbat and Altansukh Tumenjargal, representatives of Erdenes Mongol LLC, Zhao Kuitao, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Mining Association, and relevant personnel from the Department of International Cooperation attended the meeting.
