On the afternoon of March 31, a delegation led by Cheng Liwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Mining Association (CMA), visited Beijing Huaxia Jianlong Mining Technology Co., Ltd. and held talks with Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including mining development trends, technological innovation in comprehensive resource utilization, high-quality corporate development, and cooperation on the 2026 (28th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition.
President Cheng Liwei began by expressing gratitude to Huaxia Jianlong, a Vice Chair level member of the CMA, for its longstanding strong support to the association's work and to the China Mining Conference and Exhibition. He noted that Huaxia Jianlong, as an outstanding representative of private mining enterprises, has made important contributions to industry innovation. President Cheng extended a sincere invitation to Huaxia Jianlong to participate in the 2026 China Mining Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for September 10–12 in Tianjin. He noted that this year's event, while continuing to serve as a bellwether for the global mining industry, will focus on building a premier platform for international mining project transactions, with a strengthened emphasis on facilitating mining rights deals, alongside an expanded exhibition area for mining machinery and equipment. The CMA will actively leverage its role as a bridge to coordinate with relevant authorities in addressing challenges and obstacles faced by enterprises, jointly exploring pathways for green and low-carbon transformation in the mining sector.
Chairman Yuan Zhanyong welcomed the delegation and introduced Huaxia Jianlong's development strategies and key priorities. He stated that the company will continue to support the CMA's initiatives and take an active part in the 2026 China Mining Conference and Exhibition. He further noted that Huaxia Jianlong places great importance on the New Round of Strategic Prospecting Campaign, deploying exploration efforts for strategic mineral resources in provinces such as Xinjiang, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, and Liaoning. Meanwhile, the company has long been dedicated to the comprehensive development and utilization of associated resources in low-grade iron ore. Guided by the innovative philosophy of "developing one resource while cultivating another," it has achieved large-scale comprehensive utilization of associated mineral resources including iron, vanadium, titanium, phosphorus, sulfur, and copper. In addition, by integrating pit remediation with the construction of pumped storage power stations, the company has pioneered a new model for full-life-cycle mining development, injecting new vitality and momentum into the high-quality development of the mining sector.
The meeting was also attended by Che Changbo, Secretary General of the CMA, along with Gao Shixian, Vice Chairman, and Cong Gechen, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, as well as relevant representatives from both sides.
